New computer, audio not working

I recently bought a new prebuild computer from Ibuypower. Everything is working fine after some small fixes, but I cannot get the sound work properly. Videos have no voices, and all other sounds are either missing or sound like it is in a box, or very distorted.

I have tried to update, reinstall and disable/enable audio devices to no avail.
I have tried to use both the front and the back 3.5mm jacks.
I have tried different setting with the Realtek Audio Console without any changes.
I am using a headset and I have tried both with and without the adapter that splits my 3.5mm jack into both audio and microphone.

I am using Windows 10 x64bit
MSI Z370-A- Pro motherboard
GTX 1070 Ti graphics card
Intel i-7 8700K 3.7GHx CPU

I have no idea what to do and all help would be appreciated.

have you tried to enable hdmi audio through GPU to monitor?

are you saying I should try to play the sound to my monitor instead? My monitor does not have any speakers. The headset works fine with my laptop, so Im fairly sure they are not the issue.
