Hello everyone!

What components do you think are the best on the market now to assemble a PC that is powerful and fast, great for both gaming and video editing (and of course able to connect to internet wirelessly)?

Also, fan ventilation or liquid cooling system? Pros&Cons?

I don't need a monitor, basically "just" the case and all the different bits that will be built into it (apart from a DVD player). Nothing fancy for the case, please (I like cool design, but no LEDs or other stuff the would make the case look like a mini disco club ahaha)
Budget is around £1,000 (I live in UK, so hopefully I will be able to get those things here or at least from Europe with no problem), but happy to pay a bit more if it's worth it.

Thank you very much!

Thanks tennis 2 for the quick reply! So you are going for a "normal" ventilation system, do you think it's better than liquid?

Also, I don't see any usb port in that case? I might need at least 3-4 on the front (I should have specified this in the original message, my bad).

There are two USB ports on the Focus G. They're on the top-front. That's a typical number.

Liquid cooling is only really advantageous compared to air if you're in the 240mm+ size range or if case size is limited (mITX). That's not really necessary for a Ryzen 3600. Liquid coolers do have a longer "heat soak" time which levels off temp spikes for bursty workoads/frequencies (only differentiates in niche situations). There are a handful of downsides to liquid cooling also.

I see, and thanks for the alternative list!

I think I can go even as further as £1,200 if the difference in performance is big enough? Besides, I think we can take the hard drive out of the equation, as I already have a couple of solid state drives, so I might as well use just those and divert that money into the other components.

The issue is finding a graphics card in stock that won't break the bank due to the extreme shortage of gpu's atm. Find a video card to fit this build and you're good to go.

Thanks guys! Actually now I am thinking to hold on a little bit longer before getting a new system, as I can still manage... so hopefully, in around a few months or perhaps even a year from now, I will be able to get an even better system for the same money?

Thanks again
