Hi all, I put together a new computer, but I've been having issues with the motherboard beeping the code for when it cannot detect any memory. I tried each RAM stick in each of the DIMM slots, but still couldn't detect the memory; I then went out and bought the exact same type of RAM thinking that maybe both sticks were bad, but even with those two new RAM sticks I get the same beep code saying that the RAM is not detected. Everything in this build is new except for the PSU, which was working just fine in my old computer before I decided to upgrade. All fans and the lights on the motherboard come on as they should. Anybody have any ideas? Here are the specs:
Intel Core i3 8350k cpu
TUF z370-plus motherboard
EVGA geforce gtx 1060 3gb gpu
2x 8gb ddr4 RAM (Vengeance LPX 2400mhz 1.20v)
Cryorig H7 heatsink and cpu fan
Not sure on specifics of psu, but it's 630 watts

CPU was seated correctly, and no bent pins as far as I could see. I did notice that my heat sink was a little off, and upon trying to reinstall it, I noticed one of the four screws that connect to the mount cannot go all the way in, as if the ridges between the screw and the mount don't align perfectly; it goes about 90% of the way in, but the heatsink is very secure to the board and CPU despite that. I will try booting it up tomorrow and will respond with what happens; it is nearly 5am here so I need to rest for the night! Thanks for the help, I'll see if it works and post the results when I can.

Made sure CPU was seated correctly and that there were no bent pins, still getting the beep code for no memory detection. Any other ideas? Thanks for the help!
