new computer build need help

Hi there i recently just build my own computer and i am having issues with usb 3.0 ports that came with my case and with the motherboard ( i have an Antec Three Hundred 2 case/ a MSI 970A-G43 motherboard/ An AMD Fx 6300 cpu/ and i am usaing the windows 7 home premium as my operating system) since i installed windows 7 i have been ahving issues with the usb 3.0 ports on both my case and the motherboard

My usb 3.0 ports were working before i installed windows 7 i been reading about how windows 7 doesnt support usb 3.0

I know there is an option to enable usb 3.0 support through the bios. (you may/may not have these settings)

Go into your bios settings
Move to the advanced tab
Press enter on usb configuration
Enable legacy usb support
Enable Pre-Boot mode

Save settings, reboot and see if this fixes your issue.

Also, check the mobo header cable one more time. Just in case.
