Hello there. I recently started on building my own desktop. This is my first time and after seeing a number of videos I thought I had it down.

I do not.

When I turn the Power supply on and plug it on, the green light on the motherboard glows but the power button on the case does nothing. I've gone over the plugs several times but to no avail. The CPU makes no noise, none of the other plugged in fans turn on either.

If someone could help me get this computer up and running I would be most grateful.

My specs are as follows.

Sentey® Power Supply 725w Xpp725-hs

VIVO ATX Mid Tower Computer Gaming PC-V02

ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA ATX motherboard

G.Skill 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz

WD Blue 1TB Desktop 3.5 Inch SATA 6Gb/s 7200rpm Internal Hard Drive

Sapphire Radeon NITRO R9 380 4GB

AMD 6300 Black Edition Hexa core.

FYI: If your CPU ever makes any noise something very, very bad is about to happen. RUN!

Check you MB manual and make sure you have all the power cables connected. Try to reseat them.

I took out half the peripherals and was close to taking out the motherboard and starting all over. It appeared that the power led was not properly hooked up which is why the case wasn't turning on so you were right.

Everything seems to be working well and turning on. Aftermarket cooler wouldn't fit the motherboard, but just knowing that everything works ok is good enough for me.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, I do appreciate it :)
