Question New Computer but monitor is showing no display

New computer that I built right now everything turns on fans and power switch but my monitor is showing no display. I took it to some place for a semi technician to resolve something but he said it’s something to do with the motherboard. But the motherboard that I bought is applicable so there shouldn’t be any problem

AMD Ryzen 2600X 16gb Corsair Ram 500w Evga Power Supply B450 HDV motherboard. Gigabyte 1060 6gb missing anything?
And it connects via vga but I’ve tried hdmi and nothing happens, display doesn’t turn on

monitor model? what connection are you using(both end)?
