New computer but my pictures and music are not the color and sound I love, help.

I built a new pc, with Asus Z170-A motherboard including Crystal Sound 3, windows7, and a 1060 GPU.

Same [strike]outer hardware[/strike] peripherals ~ monitor & speakers. And I have yet to try the VGA cord since the *new DVI (digital) cord may be why. *Though the color looks modernly updated like windows10 (pic tested).

Would driver software fix it? Or will I need a old realtek sound card and GPU?

I highly doubt that anything has changed. Maybe your monitors white balance, more commonly known as color temperature may have changed. Try using the buttons on your monitor to navigate the monitors menus to find color temperature, turning it up will make it more yellow or warm. Turning it down makes it bluer or a cooler color.

The sound is just a change in software and EQ settings. Go into your Crystal Sound 3 manager and change the EQ (equilizer) bars to match those on your old Realtek driver.
