New computer, can't install windows

I built a new computer and it goes to the bios and I can see the CPU temp, ram speed and amount. As well as the 3 fans spinning. When I try to boot to the CD drive using the f8 key. It loads a black screen flickers a cursor then jumps back to the bios.

Is it the windows dvd?? Not the cd the mobo came with? Which isnt bootable

Yes, it is the windows 10 installation CD.

Go into the bios and change the bootdisk to it then save settings

Then press a key when it says to. If it gets to the setup screen and restarts after dont press a key again. Let it continue

I have tried to change the boot sequence to have the CD drive first and even did the boot overide but it will just flicker the cursor a few times on a black screen, then return to the bios.

It's currently 0406. How would I update it?

Get the update in the link above extract the zip file. Put it on a flash drive

But not in a folder. Go into the bios select ez flash select this update update the bios

Wait for it to finish

Can it boot to it if the usb is in exFAT?

Read the manual for the mobo. It is usually FAT32

Or extract the bios in windows in a folder. Reboot go into the bios find that folder then load the update

Currently, all i have available for a computer is a mac. Is it still possible to do this?

Updated the bios, still get the same error.
