Hi all,

I just rebuilt my computer (new graphics card, motherboard, and cpu) and whenever i restart from windows it goes into bios instead of windows. I can close out of the BIOS, and it continues fine. It seems to be something related to the boot order or something but the first one in the order is my windows drive!

My motherboard is an asus prime z270-a

Thanks in advance

Hi, thank you for pointing me to those, however they didnt help. Im not having a hard drive issue as i am able to boot to windows from the bios without issue. Its just my coputer doesnt auto go to windows on a reboot/power on

I'm not sure if this will solve your problem but you can try it. In your UEFI bios go to "Advanced", then "Boot" and look for "CSM (Compatibility Support Module)". Try setting it to "Auto" and re-boot.

No luck with that, bummer!

Try booting with any USB devices unplugged. [keyboard, mouse, etc.]

No luck on that either, it is still booting to bios

You should contact Asus Technical Support on their website. It must be some minor simple setting you need to change, we just can't find it.
