Question New Computer Suggestions (Omen, Lenovo, or PC)

Hi, everyone. I'm getting a friend a new gaming computer for his birthday, and I'm stuck between a couple of options.

I found this Omen Laptop on eBay, and it seems pretty decent for the price. It claims it comes with a full warranty, but is this true?

Next, I found this Lenovo Y7000 laptop on B&H. However, some reviewers have said that the WiFi disconnects randomly, and it has some thermal issues.

And lastly, I'm considering just getting him a PC. Now, I might sound like an idiot here, but should I get him a prebuilt computer from a dealer such as iBuyPower? I found a decent computer from them, but I've heard many bad reviews from them, mostly quality issues. Now, I've never built a computer before, and I'm a complete novice. Should I build it myself?
