New computer won't boot half the time

So I recently upgraded my computer, installed everything and had it all working before I went to work. When I came back, I tried booting it up but it'd only turn on for half a second before losing power, and then this would repeat until I unplugged the power.

I eventually moved the RAM from channel 0 and 2 to channels 1 and 3, and it started working again! No problems, for at least five hours. I turned it on the next day, and BAM, same god damn issue as before.

I took out the new RAM and replaced the old in the original channels, but I'm not sure if the same problem will occur again after I get home from work. I don't understand what could have caused this issue, considering it works SOME of the time.

For those who are interested, my specs are:

CPU: Intel Core i5 4570
Solid State Hard drive: Corsair Carbide Series 500R
Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme3
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB
CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212
Graphics Card: GTX 570
PSU: Corsair 1000W

Any help would be much appreciated!

Not sure exactly what DRAM, but if 1600 or better, is it running under XMP? if not enable XMP, is so try raising DRAM voltage + 0.05, also check all your connections that they are snug...to be honest though sounds like a PSU headed south, can you get your hands on another PSU to test with?
