PSU: Thermaltake TR2 W0070 430W
CPU: AMD Athlon X4 860K

So I've been building this computer over time but i just finished the build recently, but when i turn it on all the fans spin on (CPU heatsink fan, Case fan, and hard drive) and wont post, i do have a speaker for the mobo that came with the case but i cant hear any beeps.

I have tried changing the ram slot and taking the ram out of the motherboard and booting, but i still cant hear any beeps from the mobo.

I'm not sure what to do at this point in time and i cant afford a whole new PC, can someone help me? please?

Solution
That CPU doesnt appear on the CPU supported list on the site. So it may not be compatible with it

The only x4's listed are

FM2 AMD Athlon™ II X4 760K AD760KWOA44HL 3800Mhz 100W
FM2 AMD Athlon™ II X4 750K AD750KWOA44HJ 3400Mhz 100W
FM2 AMD Athlon™ II X4 740 AD740XOKA44HJ 3200Mhz 65W
FM2 AMD Athlon™ II X4 730 AD730XOKA44HJ 2800Mhz 65W

I don't think ill be able to RMA since the i/o panel got damaged

But i do have a question for you, i do have a i5 4460 laying around, what if i were to buy a mobo for that and just swap out the mobo and processor for that, would that work?

Solution
Hmmm, okay. I'll be ordering the mobo soon and ill get some thermal paste too i hope this works i have no other options after this D:

Also Thank you for the reply @paul NZ, i thought it was supported

Of course, i am currently looking at these 2 MSI H81M-P33 LGA 1150, GIGABYTE GA-B85M-DS3H-A LGA 1150

But i dont know which one would be better

Actually i dont think the gigabyte one supports it :|
