I recently switched from the logitech g600 to the corsair m65 pro. I have been looking to make my foward button push to talk in game which is the k button for me normally. I also am looking to make the back button * which is my teamspeak/discord push to talk button. If anyone could tell me what i need to record and how to set it up so the macro runs until i let go of the button that would be great! Oh and by the way i know i suck at making macros.

This was originally on corsairs forums posted by me but no one has responded in 2 hours i just want to see if someone could answer it here

Solution
Oh I see.
I missed that part, my bad.
Not sure exactly why it will not work like normal. One idea is to do a clean reinstall of your mouse drivers.
-Go to Device Manager
-Go to Mice and other Pointing Devices
-Right Click-Uninstall
Then unconnect and reconnect your mouse to allow fresh drivers to be installed. If Possible, use the Corsair Drivers if they are available, which I THINK is the one on the downloads page, although It just says "software", leading me to believe it is not a driver.

After the drivers are reinstalled, try to set up the key ingame again and see if it is fixed.

I'll think of another Idea. I use my basic HP OEM mouse and I have a key on it that I set perfectly fine within the game to only work when held down...

I am already using their software although it is not as friendly as the older versions were. I cant seem to find a video or thread explaining how to make the type of macro I am describing.

I think you might be able to do this in the program itself.
I'm going to assume you mean TF2/CSGO for the speaking, since that was the default. You should just be able to change that in the settings. Edit key, and just hit the button on your mouse.

Same also applies for Discord. It's in settings under voice iirc

You appear to have missed what I am saying. I am having trouble setting up a macro that starts when I hold the button down and stops when I let go. I have no problem setting which key i want in game I just am having problems setting up a macro that does what I want.
