Hi everyone,

So I have the following specs and I want to renew my stock air cooler from AMD because it's starting to get too high. Replacing thermal paste helped a little, but under heavy stress, it's reaching beyond 85 degrees.

AMD Ryzen 5 3600 - Stock cooler
ASUS 2060 Super - ROG STRIX
16 GB Delta T-Force - 8x2
MSI B450 Tomahawk
Xigmatek Poseidon Case

I'm thinking of going for Cooler Master below. Will this fit in my case ?

At the bottom of this page -- https://www.xigmatek.com/product_detail.php?item=227 You can see that the maximum height of a CPU cooler is 165mm.
According to this page -- https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/cpu-air-coolers/hyper-212-led-turbo/#specifications That cooler is 163mm high.
For the price of that Coolermaster you can get a Noctua -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002VKVZ1A/

Thank you very much. Unfortunately, ordering from Amazon costs a lot because I'm not in the US and have to pay a lot of taxes. So I have to buy a fan locally instead.

That CoolerMaster not really an awesome choice, not for U$71.

You can get better coolers for less (for example: Arctic Freezer 34 esport DUO).
Or as kanewolf wrote, for the same price a really good Noctua NH-D14.

Budget alternative: Gammaxx GTE / GTE V2

Unfortunately as I said to Kanewolf, I have to pay lots of taxes if I buy from Amazon, and locally Cooler Master is one of the only options available.
Thanks for the suggestions though

Well, instead of being cryptic, tell us what your country is and we'll be able to help you. Otherwise we're shooting in the dark. Trying to hide what country you're in is a bit ridiculous. I live in Canada and I don't care who knows. I just won't say where. However, the knowledge that I'm Canadian is valuable to people who would be trying to give me usable suggestions if I had a problem that needed solved.
