Question New CPU and second-hand GPU ?

So having some issues with getting my pc to boot after installing new 5600x and second hand 3060ti gaming x trio. It will only boot with 1 dimm slot(2) populated, the other stick won’t work in either slot so tried a completely different set of ram and neither of them sticks will get it too boot in either slot 2 or 4 so I started to think I have faulty cpu since I can get it too boot with 1 specific ram module. Other suggestions would be appreciated

I’ve tried:

• bios update
• resetting cmos
• Reseating cpu, GPU , power cables

Bent cpu pin?

Try looking closely for a bent CPU pin or corroded/dirty/damaged slot connector/pad. Or even could you have accidentally bumped and damaged a surface mount component?
