Question New cpu, computer not working

Installed a Ryzen 5 3600 to my Asrock b450m, nothing displayed. Reinstalled my previous gen 2 Ryzen to my pc, no display and now the I/o is no longer working. Installed cpu and gpu to another board and they worked perfectly. Not sure if it’s an issue with the psu, since I purchased a 750w silver stone just 2 weeks ago and it worked just fine with all of my components. Any help would be appreciated

Also, I did not update the BIOS prior to installing the 3rd gen Ryzen CPU, but I don’t understand why the original CPU would no longer work nor the rear I/o.

Try clearing cmos

I have tried clearing the CMOS by removing the battery twice, but unfortunately no dice.

I have also reseated the ram, cpu, and cpu cooler multiple times, along the the cpu and motherboard cables from the PSU

I had tried the original ram sticks (2666mhz) and another set that I purchased (3200mhz), both g.skill ripjaws 5 2*8 gb
