[SOLVED] New CPU, computer won’t start.

So I upgraded my pc with a new Ryzen 5 and the computer starts just can’t see anything on my screen. Also my leds don’t work or the light on the power button doesn’t turn on. What did I do wrong or what did I miss. Also when I put in the new cpu it started like turned on with all the light. But I was workin on carpet so I unplugged it so nothing bad would happen. Also. I was taking out a screw and it’s a very small tower and so I had to move the screw on the mother board a lil and there was a spark but this was a while ago and then I put in the cpu and it al started like good. But after I unplugged it. It just starts with no lights and I don’t see it on the screen.

Perhaps the motherboard doesn't support the new Ryzen CPU without a BIOS update.
