[SOLVED] New cpu core temp question

Hi,
I just built this pc with a B660, i3-12100f, RTX 3060

I just started the system for the first time and the cpu core temp is 46C.
There is no operating system.

is that a normal temp at rest?
EDIT: cooled by two fans that came with the 4000D case. The case is completely disassembled with no sides or front panels on it whatsoever

The low power C states are disabled until an operating system is installed so your higher idle temps are normal.
