Question New CPU crashing PC

I installed a i7 7700k CPU in my pc today (upgraded from a i5 7500)
When playing Destiny 2 after a couple of hours my PC will crash (blue screen)
I've updated the BIOS and all drivers. Windows 10 is fully updated. I've also reset the BIOS and CMOS.

Intel i7 7700k
Corsair Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4 RAM
EVGA GTX 1080TI 11GB
Asus Strix 270-E
Corsair Crystal 460X ATX Mid Tower
Western Digital 500GB M.2 SSD

Check the motherboard socket for any bent pins - you might need a magnifying glass.
Make and model of the power supply?
Memory and gpu overclocks removed?
