Question New CPU i7 7700k

Hello guys, i have just buyed the INTEL i7 7700K to my Acer Predator G3-710
And i have the bios version: R01.1A
But when i will download the bios update that fits for 7th g. but it says in the title: Do not upgrade from R01.

what should i do

look like there are different hardware revision.

As the BIOS supporting Kaby Lake would be late 2016 (preliminary) in time for a Jan 2017 launch, I'd guess any BIOS from 2015 would not support Kaby Lake...

But how can i so upgrade bios when its says "do not upgrade from R01?

The above forum post implies that there might be different MB revisions, and, possibly the newest BIOS is only compatible with the newer MB....

And the below post states that to do so would brick the mainboard....

Sell the 7700K, and get a B360 and a 9600K
