Question New cpu in, fans full speed and no signal

Just installed a new 5800x replacing my old 3700x, and upon start up there’s no signal to the monitor, gpu fans are at full speed and keyboard and mouse not showing signs of power. I’ve tried moving my sticks of ram around and adjusting power cables, nothing is working…

Did you clear the CMOS to rest the cpuid

Which MB ? Did you update BIOS version ?
