New cpu in motherboard

No a dg33m05 motherboard is socket 775 i3's follow the list bellow, we would need to know what i3 you have to know what socket it would fit.

Gen 1 i3's are socket 1156
Gen 2, 3 are socket 1155
Gen 4 are socket 1150
I dont believe the gen 5 or 6 are out yet
Gen 5 would be 1150
Gen 6 would be 1151

What processor would I see a big difference in from the 2.60ghz?
http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/cpu/#k=13&qq=1

2.6 ghz does not tell us much.

There is a 2.6ghz version of a Celeron, Pentium, Core 2 Duo, and Core 2 quad. Each of them perform very different. There is even different generations that will make a marginal difference.

Please give us the exact model of the CPU.
If you do not know it you can right click on "computer" in your start menu, select properties, and it will tell you

It's a 2.60 Pentium

So if I got a http://www.ebay.com/itm/Supermicro-X8SIL-F-LGA-1156-Server-Motherboard-/262083333919?hash=item3d05624f1f:g😛psAAOSwhcJWFZ~q with a http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-SLBUD-Core-i3-550-3-20GHz-4M-09A-Socket-1156-CPU-Processor-Fully-Tested-/131617133476?hash=item1ea4fe13a4:g:d5sAAOSwI-BWHq2j will work just fine as a upgrade ?

May I ask the board you listed is capable with windows 8.1 64 bit? And also will I be able just to put it all tougher and boot it up like normal?

The motherboard does not have any windows 8 drivers for it. Most likely the win 7 ones will work but no guarantee.
You will be tough to find a socket 1156 motherboard with windows 8 or 10 drivers.

The parts should swap out fairly straight forward. You will need to reuse your heatsink and apply new thermal paste
You can not "just boot it up" you will need to reinstall windows and your programs like you would have to do with any major motherboard change.

Do you happen to know any motherboards on ebay I3 and i3 processor for windows 8.1?

I am not going to look up 50 different motherboard for you.
Find a board, copy its model number and google for it, go to the support page of the vendor (so gigabyte if it is a gigabyte board, etc), once you are on the right website you can see its CPU support list and its driver downloads. If there is win 8 drivers in the list then it supports windows 8.

As stated you are going to have a hard time finding socket 1156 hardware that supports windows 8. You may have to decide if you want the cheaper older hardware and windows 7, or pay more for a newer socket 1155 setup.
