Hello!
I recently tried to upgrade my i5-6500 to an i7-7700K on an ASUS Z170-A motherboard. I upgraded my BIOS the night before and checked to make sure the computer was fine. The next day I installed my new i7 with a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo. When I tried to boot up my computer, everything lit up and all fans were spinning. However, nothing appeared on my display and my GPU fans would stop spinning after 10 seconds or so. I tripled checked all my cables and wires but still nothing.
I thought maybe it was an issue with the new CPU so I re-installed my old CPU and it's old cooler but the same thing is happening now. I've tried resetting the CMOS (by removing the battery on the mother board) but that did not work either. I am truly confused to what my next move should be especially since my old CPU is no longer booting the PC as well.
Please offer any suggestions possible, thank you so much.

Computer Specs:
ASUS Z170-A
EVGA GeForce 1070
EVGA 650W GQ
i5-6500 and i7-7700K
16g RAM G.Skill TridentZ

(If you are using a graphics/video card) The problem is that the CPU is trying to use it's display to the motherboards on-board display, here's what you do;
Plug in and turn on the PC through your motherboard's DVI/HDMI and go to your startup screen. After this you will want to device manager and find your processor's display in the app. After that, right-click it and disable it. Don't worry, you'll still be able to see the screen. After this make sure you turn off your computer and use the graphics/video card's DVI/HDMI and after that, everything should be good to go! Let me know how it goes.

I tried this and still the same thing. I removed my GPU as well to make sure. Thanks for the suggestion though!
