Hey I just installed a new cpu (5600x) from a 2600x with the b450 ds3h gigabyte motherboard (f62c)

On boot, I get the error message Press Y to reset ftpm and press N to keep previous ftpm record

I've been pressing N to boot, I don't have Bitlocker enabled and I'm really confused (It shows up on every boot)

I also cant enter bios when clicking delete in the menu, my XMP is disabled

With your older processor, disable TPM and then power down, then drop the new CPU into your motherboard and see if you're able to POST and then boot to OS GUI. Your board is pending one more BIOS version, F62d.
So should I upgrade BIOS on my 2600x, then return to the 5600x with TPM disabled? I'm pretty sure I've never enabled it and it's not enabled at the moment.

  1. Change default status of AMD PSP fTPM to Enabled for addressing basic Windows 11 requirements (https://support.microsoft.com/windows/1fd5a332-360d-4f46-a1e7-ae6b0c90645c)
also what about this^^ (im on windows 10)
