New CPU + MoBo old secondary HDD

I will be buying a new mobo and cpu soon. Right now I have a 128gb SSD and a 1TB HDD. the OS is on the SSD, and I plan on reinstalling win10 fresh when I get the new mobo and cpu. My question is regarding my HDD, which has Steam, Chrome, and essentially everything other than my OS/drivers on it. Will it work right away or do I need to wipe that too? All the google results I found were regarding primary drive with the OS. I haven't really been able to find much information regarding secondary drives that simply have files and programs and no driver/OS.

Any applications on that drive will need to be reinstalled. The new OS will know nothing about them.
All other files are fine.
