Question New cpu, no boot, black screen

I got a toshiba satellite c655 and I got an old Lenovo t61 from my grandfather and it has a better cpu and it should be compatible with the motherboard for the toshiba, I did the upgrade and now I get a black screen and the fans spin and shut of but the computer stays on, it does this with both cpus now. I am running with 4gb ddr3 as ram and I would like to get this to work, any help?
The second cpu is an intel core 2 duo t7100

Try resetting the bios by removing the cmos battery if that doesn't help try a single ram on each slot.

I already tried the bios and it’s not the ram, I tried it in another computer
