So I installed a new cpu into my PC.
I upgraded from a AMD ryzen 5 2600 to a AMD ryzen 7 5800x.
I have a Tomahawk B450 motherboard, i searched online and it said that it should be compatible.

I tried updating the BIOS to the newest release, but i still have no display or anything.
There is a red lamp "CPU" on on my motherboard.
I also tried to reinstall the old cpu and that worked fine.

Im not that tech savvy so I dont know what else to do.

Edit: i also removed and replaced the CMOS battery

Make sure your RAM is on compatibility list for new CPU - those boards have different lists for each CPU family, so even if your RAM worked fine with old CPU it does not mean it will work fine with new CPU.
Other then that there is also slight possibility that new CPU is just dead. Happens.

I check if the ram sticks are compatible and it should work?
Maybe it's a dead cpu, but i'll be checking that tomorrow
