Question New Cpu No Display

HI! I have an Asus h61 motherboard i had an i5 3470 installed in it but i decided to install it in another pc and bought an i3 2120 but pc is not showing display i did bios reset and it booted but when i shutdown the pc and try to boot it again it wont boot so i have to repeat the process of removing cmos battery again and again sometimes even this doesn,t work.

PLEASE HELP!!

After bios reset did you go into bios then exit saving settings?
