Hey guys, so i am going for an upgrade soon but cant decide whether i should change my processor or graphics card. If i was to change the CPU i would get something like an i7 and if i was to change the GPU i would get a gtx 980 or r9 295x2. Or do i even need an upgrade anytime soon? So any thoughts on what i should do?

Current build:

mobo: Asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0
GPU: R9 280x
CPU: FX 8350 @ 4.5
PSU: EVGA Supernova G2 750w
HDD: WD 1TB
Case: NZXT Switch 810
RAM: crucial tactical tracer 2x4gb, 1600
Cooler: Noctua NH-D15
Operating system: Windows 7 professional

Thanks

Wait for the 390X to come out, should be a more significant upgrade compared to anything in the market right now barring the Titan X (Too expensive) and the 295x2 (1000W PSU Minimum)

yeah i was wondering about the power consumption of the 295x2. Probably best to wait and see the new range from amd. Just cant decide whether a new CPU would be better

If the 8350 is still providing consistent framerates that you're happy with there's probably no need to upgrade the CPU as buying a whole New CPU+Mobo with be a complete waste of money.

okay thank you! ill take that into consideration
