New CPU parts causing instability

So i recently installed my new parts on my PC

ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII HERO
I7 6700k
CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4

And for some unknown reason and getting stuttering and fps drops when i open any game ill be at 100+FPS and just drop to 20-40.

Previously I had a

ASUS M5A99FX PRO
FX8370
and 16GB of ram can't remember the exact

Current graphics card that was in both systems: GTX 1070

Solution
make sure you did a clean reinstall of windows. make sure windows has the newest intel chipset installed and the newest mb bios.

Did you do a fresh or new install of windows when you upgraded? If no that is why

Make sure the newest drivers are installed. In not this may be why.

Have watched your temps (cpu and GPU)? if spiking over 90+C then that is why

Have you tested your memory with memtest? Did it pass? no that is why

If you have done those try running DDU real quick in safe mode.
