New cpu problem

I just got a new cpu ,fx 8350, and i put it in and started the pc and everything worked fine until i started battlfield 4. It started loading up but when i spawned in my whole pc shut down. When i turn it back on it restarts over and over until i shut it down myself. I recently updated my BIOs an i still have the same problem. I dont think its overheating because it hasnt been on for long at all.
SPECS
Amd fx 8350 (no OC) stock heatsink.
Gtx 760 SC
600 watt power supply
8gb ram

What 600w PSU are you using? Also make sure the fan is functioning on the PSU.

The fan does work and i dont know what type of psu it is ill say later today. ive used it before also playin battlefield with that same psu

It doesn't take long to overheat if something is installed wrong. Check your heatsink and make sure it is properly secured and the fan is working.

I dont think its over heating. Im playing cod ghost at max settings fine for like an hour.

Do you think i should reinstall it? Ive heard cpus hold memory and my old cpu could have that memory so could i just reinstall it so the new cpu can have the same memory too?

Ive reinstalled the game and reset my BIOS and made sure nothin was overheating it still just shuts my pc down
