hi guys. ive got an intel desktop dq57tm board.and am currently using an i5-750@ 2.67 ghz with it. i was wondering whether an i7-860 will work with it? i know its still a fairly old cpu but ive ehard that there be be less bottlenecking with it and i would like to upgrade for cheap. will this work? i plan on using a gtx 1050ti with it ;)

Of course the i7 will work.

A gtx 1050Ti would not bebottleneck for an i7-860 although the later one is old. The i7 overclocks pretty well but if you don't intend to O.C then aslo you would be fine and there won't be any such noticeable bottlenecks until and unless you are running a pretty hefty CPU intensive game.
