For a while now i have been thinking about upgrading my PC again, but i'm not totally sure if these parts will work optimal together and if it's a good enough upgrade from my old parts to be worth the pretty big price.

MSI Z97 GAMING 5

Corsair 8 GB DDR3-1866 Kit

Intel® Core™ i7-4790K (Will be overclocked on air or water)

With the new hardware i want to be able to render video's in After Effects and Sony Vegas faster, and be able to stream games at 1080p60 without lowering the game's quality or having any lag.

I am open for any advice on new parts, keep in mind that i will change out my GPU later since my budget doesn't allow it at this time.

(current PC specs)
CM Haf X Nvidia Edition,
ASUS Sabertooth Z77,
i5-2320 OC @ 3,7 GHz.,
EVGA GTX 660 Ti SC,
6GB RAM Hitachi 4GB + Hyundai 2GB,
Corsair CX600,
1TB Hitachi, 2TB WD Red, 120GB SSD

The i7 sure will help a lot with video editing. 2 x 8gb 2133 or 2400 would also help a lot too.

Mobo - see - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2383187/motherboard-tier-list-z97-chipset.html

its in tier 2a with asrock extreme 4 and asus z97-a.

Also see http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-intel-amd-motherboard,3902.html - Tom's recommends the Gaming 5 and ASRock Extreme 4

The Extreme 4 is a touch cheaper too - https://www.alternate.nl/ASRock/Z97-Extreme4-Moederbord/html/product/1139176?tk=7&lk=9450

The i7 4790k is great at rendering. See http://www.anandtech.com/show/8426/the-intel-haswell-e-cpu-review-core-i7-5960x-i7-5930k-i7-5820k-tested/5 Cinebench R15 multi-threaded.

Thanks for the advice, i'm going to look into changing the RAM to a bit faster ones.
Do you know if i will be able to stream 1080p60 with this setup?
