Just got myself a new AMD Ryzen 7 1700x CPU, along with a ASUS B450 Gaming motherboard, and installed it today. Now the big change apart from the extra power, is that it now makes a lot of noises, and while I follow the temperature on the Ryzen Master software, it keeps on having the CPU temperature between 45-60 degrees, which I think is a little hot. To cool it down, I use a Corsair H80i v2 hydro cooling, so I thought it would keep it cooler, and perhaps even quieter.

Could there be an error somewhere, or should I invest in something else?

Did you aplay paste good??There is something wrong with your cooler.Or maybe its to small to push that amount of heat from that beast off CPU.I use 2700x oc to 4.2 with nh d15 noctua fan in idle 32c in load 60c.So my opinion wold be any good noctua air cpu coolers depande of your case height for CPU.Any NOCTUA,TERMALRIGHT,BEQUIET are good coice for you.
