New CPU temperatures

I have recently gotten a new intel core i7 4790k. Idle and during light usage such as using chrome it runs at about 40-50 degrees celcius. During gaming on the other hand it can shoot into the 90's. I was just wondering should this be any cause of concern?

If your cpu cooler is functioning and mounted properly, I would expect 10-15c. over ambient at idle.
Any cooler needs a supply of fresh air to do it's job.
What is the make/model of your case?
What is your cooler?

Concern... no, the cpu will slow down or turn off to protect itself at around 100c.
