New CPU wont boot propely

Specs=
Intel Core I3 2120
Nvidia Geforce 620
250 GB seagate HDD
615114 001 HP Compaq 6200 Pro MT motherboard
300W power supply
8GB ram

Today i got my brand new Intel Xeon E1220 v1 processor swapped it out with my current one (Intel Core I3 2120). Then i changed thermal paste etc. and when i tried to boot my PC it didn't quite work. My case fan, cpu fan and gpu fan turned on and off and the PC didn't show any BIOS. My PC basically turned on for 1 second and turned off. I have tried doing everything i could imagine. It still didn't work. When i put my old cpu back everything worked fine, but the new cpu didn't work at all.

That motherboard has the Q65 chipset and I thought I read that Xeon and Q65 were incompatible. On top of that, I would expect the Xeon to require special microcode that your BIOS does not include.

Ok, thanks for the info! Atleast i didnt spend as much money on that cpu. But can you find cheap compatible motherboard with all those specs? That would be nice.
