Looking to get a new processor for my pc as I’m currently running a 1300x with a 2060, what would be a sensible upgrade. I’m thinking a Ryzen 5 2600, is that a good upgarde?
I’m in the UK so I think they are the same price but I haven’t checkedIf your in the US you can get a 1700 for cheaper then the 2600.

Or wait until July for Ryzen 3rd Gen.
It's a sort of small upgrade, but if you believe it's worth doing, go for it. You might need a BIOS update, though, as you're moving from Ryzen 1 to 2.Looking to get a new processor for my pc as I’m currently running a 1300x with a 2060, what would be a sensible upgrade. Ok I’ll probably just be best waiting for that then cause I’m not very desperate for an upgrade at the momentHow desperate are you to upgrade? Ryzen 3 is on the horizon and leaks so far say it will be a significant step up from 2nd gen. Problem is we dont know the release date but its expected before August.
