Hello folks,

I bought a new Crucial BX500 120GB and it works just fine, but checking it with HD Sentinel it says 0% health and that I should back up my data, even thouh it says 0 working hours. Also it says that the SSD state it PERFECT, also SMART shows no issues.

I do have warranty, but, should I try a different software, maybe it's a bug?

This is what it says:

The status of the solid state disk is PERFECT. Problematic or weak sectors were not found.
The TRIM feature of the SSD is supported and enabled for optimal performance.
The health is determined by SSD specific S.M.A.R.T. attribute(s): #202 Vendor-specific
It is recommended to backup immediately to prevent data loss.

This is the SMART info: https://ibb.co/MDL5r5q

Also the temperature is wrong as it seems, it's nowhere close to 40C.
Thanks in advance!

The raw value of attribute 202 is 0x64 (= 100 decimal). That's 100% health AISI. I don't know how HD Sentinel arrives at a figure of 0%.

Attribute 194 is reporting 3 temperatures:

0x2C = 44C
0x25 = 37C
0x27 = 39C

These are the max/min/current temperatures for the current power cycle.

Note that the temperature may not reflect the air temperature inside the SSD. This because some SSDs have a separate temperature sensor IC whereas others sense the temperature on the flash controller's die.
