New custom build problems

I just assembled my new system, some of my specs, if you need more info just ask.

GPU: Radeon 7850
CPU: fx 6-100 Zambezi 6 core

When I turn my new system on my cpu heat sink's fan spins and so does my gpu's
built in fan.

When I turn on my monitor, it does not detect any video feed!

I really need help this is my first build any tips?

Check that the four or eight pin power plug near the CPU is connected.if your mob has built in video see if the mb defaulted to the onboard chipset. On the gpu make sure both power plugs are connected.

Checked all those, no onboard video :/
