We just built a new pc but when we go to install Windows to the boot drive, there is nothing showing in the list of available drives. We are running the following components:
Motherboard: Asrock B450 Pro 4
GPU: GeForce RTX 2070 Super
CPU: Ryzen 5 3900x
PSU: Corsair RM750X
SSD: SK hynix Platinum P41 SSD 2TB
We also have 3 Corsair RS120 ARGB Fans and a Corsair Nautilus 360 RS ARGB AIO Cooling System

This is all in a Corsair 3500 Series Tower.

We have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the SSD in both SATA ports, going into BIOS and changing settings from from AHCI to RAID and back to AHCI, and checked for visual damage (none detected). We don’t have another device to insert the SSD in to check or voltage meters.

What could possibly be wrong that the system is not detecting the SSD?

SK hynix Platinum P41 SSD 2TB is NVME drive. It can not be installed into a SATA port.
Did you mean M.2 slot?
going into BIOS and changing settings from from AHCI to RAID and back to AHCI
Set SATA controller to AHCI. Do not set to RAID.
Disable Fast Boot,
Disable Secure Boot,
Try enabling CSM.

If you are trying to install windows 11, then TPM 2.0 has to be enabled.
Have only single drive connected during windows install.

Yes, my mistake. We did install and uninstall in to the M.2 slot.

SATA controller is set to AHCI.
Fast Boot and Secure Boot are disabled.
We will try enabling CSM and see if that works.

We are trying to install Windows 10 and only have a single driver connected.
