So I built a new computer for the first time today. It's nothing special, just something my dad could use for work.
Everything seems to be in place, plugged in properly and what not but when I turn it on the fans go on and the green "stdby" light goes on but nothing displays on the monitor. I've gone through the post which leads you through how to fix this but I can't figure out my problem. I've rearranged the RAM in every which way, unplugged and replugged everything. I was told that I could start by checking the CPU and I could do so by unplugging everything but the CPU and a keyboard and seeing if the caps lock light on the keyboard goes on. The problem is that I have a Bluetooth usb keyboard with no capslock light. Any other ideas?

Specs:

Cpu: Intel Celeron G1840 2.8GHz Boxed Processor

Mobo: Intel DQ87PG LGA 1150 mATX OEM Intel Motherboard

Ram: 2x(Micro Center 4GB DDR3-1333 (PC3-10666) CL9 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit)

Power Supply: Athena Power APOLLO 300 Watt Micro ATX Power Supply

HDD: Toshiba 500GB 7,200 RPM SATA III 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Desktop Hard Drive - Bare Drive

Case: PowerSpec PS 23B0 mATX Computer Case

Wireless Adapter: TP-LINK TL-WN881ND 300Mbps Wireless N PCI-E Adapter

Optical Drive: LG GH24NSC0B 24x Internal DVD Rewritable SATA Drive

No GPU: My belief was that with integrated graphics I wouldn't need one. As this is my first time building a computer I wouldn't be surprised if I was wrong.

P.S. sorry to post ANOTHER one of these posts. Went through a lot of similar ones with different builds and couldn't find a solution that worked for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't have one that is on that list. All I have is an i7-3630QM which is also not on the list. But the Intel® Celeron® G1830 is on the list which is very similar to the G1840 (the one I have)
