New desktop computer

Hey guys looking into buying a new desktop computer for myself.
Aeon 3408 Gaming Tower | Intel i5-8400 | Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB | 16GB DDR4 Ram | 256GB SSD | 1TB HDD | Windows 10 Home
With this rig I should be able to max out most AAA games and what not from my research ( correct me if I’m wrong)
My other decision is the monitor. I do play a verity of games including FPS ones. Would a 144hz monitor be worth it? And if so what would be some recommendations?

On max settings you probably wont get 144 FPS on max settings for most games with that setup so just buy a good quality 60-100 mhz monitor. Other then that its a nice setup that should serve you well.

yes, you should be able to max out recent aaa title, @ 60 fps 1080p. i do suggest getting a 144hz monitor, for fps, even at reduced visual and higher fps/refresh rate are preferred. all we care is the kills =].
