Okay, I'm cursed! Asus K8N-E Deluxe mobo. Western Digital SerialATA 200gb
primary drive. I get an identical drive for my storage, format it and it
runs slower than the first. Bios shows its running in UDMA 5 insteasd of
UDMA 6 like the primary. And I cant change it. So, I RMA the drive, get a
250gb version, it reports Udma 6 just fine but won't format past 66%!!!!
Another bad drive from ZipZoomFly??? What are the chances??? Im going back
to using stones and cave drawings!!!!

It may have something to do with the 137 GB limit. Most of the format
software disks that come with new drives have ways to address it. I
don't trust any of them and I will split the drives larger than 137
using FDISK into two or more logical drives. Try that. I don't think
that the drives are bad. They've become disgustingly reliable.
