Question new dvd player isnt playing sound please help

so i just got a new LG ultra slim dvd player for my computer so i can play movies and whatnot, but when i try to play movies it just says "unsupported audio" and wont play any sound.

any help would be greatly appreciated

What software are you using to try and play dvds when it says "unsupported audio"? Also what version of Windows are you using?
