New ethernet cable not working with exciting powerline adapter

Recently I bought a new cat 6 ethernet cable so that I would move the postion of one of TP-Link powerline adapter to a better socket. After getting the cable and plugging it all in, it didn't want to work, I tested the cable and it seemed to work (I don't have a proper tester for it, I simple plugged it into the router and a different computer near the router). I've tried swapping the powerline adapters around but I still doesn't work, luckly my old cables still work with it. I can't think what the problem would be with it, is it the cable or something to do with the powerline adapters

Do you know if both power line adapters are on the same circuit breaker?
