Hi!

I just installed my new card replacing my old ATI HD 5700 series. I un-installed the old drivers completely then powered down my PC, installed the new one, installed the latest drivers (378.92), and restarted. Everything looks fine. But there are a few issues:

- My dxdiag (32 and 64bit) shows only 1659MB of Display memory?
-- CPU-Z detects 6144MB
-- After Effects Element 3D also detects 6144MB

- The fan idles at 0 RPM with temps around 35 - is that normal? I found a thread about the BIOS update for the single-fan models, but with a note that it's removed because it's "no longer necessary". Am I missing something?

- The MAX resolution I can set my desktop to is 1920x1080. Why? Isn't that supposed to be much more? I'm using a DVI cable to connect it to my monitor.

System specs:

Case: SC5600BASE
Motherboard: Intel S5520SC - BIOS version 60 (9/9/2011)
CPU: 2x Xeon E5645 2.4 GHz
CPU Coolers: 1x Antec Kuhle H2O 620 + 1x Antec Kuhler H2O 650
RAM: 12x4GB Kingston KVR1333D3N9/4G-SP
GPU: EVGA GTX 1060 OC 6GB
HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB (Primary and System HDD)
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1

Thank you!

Yes - normal.

I don't know. What's the model name of your monitor? Can it support more than 1920x1080? Are you using single link or dual link DVI cable?

Thanks! I also researched that and found that this is because of the new BIOS update EVGA released. All good.

My cable turns out to be a DVI-D single link. Will changing the cable to a DVI-D Dual or an HDMI allow for more resolution?
Also, my screen is Samsung SyncMaster S23A300B.

Yes it was a PowerColor ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit card.
It's worth mentioning that I updated the mobo's BIOS to the latest version and nothing changed regarding this matter.
Also, my mobo's PCIe slots are Gen 2

I just googled "dxdiag incorrect vram" and got many hits. It's definitely the application and most likely not your system. Are you experiencing any issues?

Not any issues so far. I just bench-marked it using FurMark and it scored 4473 points (which is good enough compared to this article here I think: http://www.geeks3d.com/20160816/evga-geforce-gtx-1060-superclocked-6gb-gddr5-review/#_4)

Trying to attach a picture but can't seem to find how.
