Question New external network adapter recognised as "other device"

The network adapter on my old old motherboard GA-G41M-Combo had died and I bought an external one from a local parts dealer. They tested it on their computer before selling it to me and it worked fine. It also has the green lights on when a cable is plugged but I still have no internet connection.
I tried looking into Device Manager to see if it's recognised and it is shown as "PCI Device" under the section "Other devices" (here's how it looks https://prnt.sc/nhesvy )

The adapter itself has no brand on it and I don't know where to search for help :/

El-cheapo adapters are like that. U have to install the correct driver, the one that came with it, not any that you find on the NET, and of course it must be compatible with the Windows version ur running.

Buy cheap stuff gets u this kind of hassle.
