Im want to change the fan on one of my old PSU's, the problem is that it uses a 2pin connector, all the fans I have found on the internet use three pin connectors. Does anyone know anywhere in england that sells 2pin fans?

If you can't find a 2 wire fan, use a 3 wire fan. He told you which wires were positive and negative, the other wire goes unused.

If you hook it up wrong you won't hurt the fan, and you'd have enough time to shut down the supply before it overheated, so why worry? Just try it, if you connect it the wrong way, connect it the other way.

Also be aware that some power supply fans had the red on the left, others have it on the right...you might have to move wires around. Look at your old fan to see.
