New/First Build Gaming Video Card suggestions please

So I just ordered all the parts to build my new pc besides a graphic card thanks to the black friday sales recently, but even still I've spent a lot fo money making this system happen. So I am looking for a graphics card with the best bang for the buck, thats going to last me as long as possible. I would like to order this gpu very soon; before the end of the year, so I can put this computer thats due hear the first of december to some use. I was looking at this card here( msi twin frozr II 560 ti 2gb http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127608 ), but if anyone can sugest something better for my situation(ether price or peformance) that would be great. I plan on mainly gaming on the pc(Diablo 3/Guildwars 2/Dota 2/Starcraft 2/League of legends/Battlefield 3/Metro 2033/Crysis 2/Counter strike 2) I don't plan on having all these gmes, but I'd like my machine to be able to run them. I would also like to be able to stream hd movies(i.e. Netflix). Preferably I'd like an nvidia card, but I'm not pressed I've just had nvidia before and liked it. Website wise I use newegg.com, but any trusted sites with a better price I am all for(amazon, tigerdirect,ncix, w/e). I would like to not have to overclock, but in the future when my pc is more out of date I wouldn't mind. Just as well in the future I may get a second video card for sli to keep my pc up to speed once prices go down.

i'm surprised you only get a 19" (more less) monitor.... get at least 22"
the 560ti is a good card, but i think the 2gb video memory is overkill. I'd get the 1gb if i were you.

560TI is a good choice , to see what that card can do you need a bigger monitor 22'' with 1920x1080 rezolution. In that price range you can buy an Radeon 6950 2gb video card. Here you can see in a lot of games an higher rezolution 6950 2gb is better than 560 ti.

Well i also have a 42" 1080p lcd tv i'm going to use it on. The moniter i have is an old monitor from tge last computer.

For single monitor gaming just go for a 6950 and flash it to 6970 and you should be good. If it's not enough, just buy another card to CF.
Or a single 560 should do as well.

I waa told that a lot of cards get capped because of the 1gb memory is it worth it to go for 2gb or even one of these new 448 cores with 1280mb?

So could I go with a lower card and still rum these games on high settings on a single monitor? any suggestions on that? Trying to save as much money as possible here. If I wont need 2gb than I wont get it. I'm guessing is the 6950 and 560 ti the sweet spot atm for graphics? Just really curious becuase there's a huge gap in price for just 560 ti's $199-$310. Any picks or reccomended cards?

go with the 2gb, or the new 560Ti with slightly over 1gb. The way games have been going and especially if you max out AF then you will need the extra vram on certain games such as BF3, Metro, etc...
the 560Ti is also a great overclocker, and judging from the review on toms, the new 448 core is overclocking to exceed a stock 570.

For an 18.5 inch monitor, you won't use 1gb. I never even did on my 23 inch.

As someone who followed that 448 for a while, and if you wanna go nvidia, I'd take another hard look at the msi twin frozr ii 560 ti 2gb, as the others have suggested, because games are only be getting higher resolutions in the future. Like the others have said as well, get a. Infer monitor so that graphical sexiness has a nice visual home on your desktop, monitors are cheap right now. And, as far as 6950s go, most manufacturers have layered off the bios switching to a 6970, though I have read there are still some available and, if you felt confident about it and could find some good cards to chose from, I'd do that, but be careful because you can destroy your card and void your warranty if you don't do it right with the wrong card and with a less lenient warranty

The 448 is going to be extremely hard to find in the next year as it is a limited release with estimates of onlyn10000 cards total so if you ever wanted to go SLI, you would have buy them now and, from my research done, because I'm far from an expert myself, the twin frozr 560 ti is close enough and cheap-er enough(lol grammar) to it with higher clock speeds and more VRAM that I think it is the better purchase, it's bias speaking though because that is what I chose to do. Go on newegg right now and find it yo
