New FreeSync Adaptive-Sync Monitor Releases

I've read that a lot of the new monitors are supposed to be released in March but I haven't seen any recent news on release dates. Is anybody aware of when these new monitors might be coming out (i.e. Asus MG279Q, LG 34UM67, BenQ XL2730Z)? I've been holding out on a monitor and the money is burning a hole in my pocket.

I haven't heard of those monitors, but you need to make sure that you have a 290, 290x, or 285, as those are the only high-end cards that support Freesync. Also be aware that there are corrently no AMD graphics drivers for Freesync.

Thanks 17seconds. I'm actually not looking to buy for the FreeSync capability as I have a 280x. I am more interested in the increased refresh rate on a 1440 27 inch IPS. I'm also going to keep an eye on the current monitors such as the Asus PB278Q in case the price drops substantially when this new batch of monitors arrives.

Thanks for the heads up norseman4. However, I didn't realize that the BenQ was a TN panel and I'm looking for an IPS. With AMD's new FreeSync announcement, I'm hoping that these monitors start popping up on newegg, amazon, etc. The 34" LG looks good, but I'm seeing that it might have a slow response time (14s).
